I read it not as an attack on Pickleball because it has nothing to do with pickleball, but the players playing it. Like you said, you can’t go from couch potato to 5 times a week chasing balls down like Alcaraz on concrete. I think it’s a good first step to get sedentary people more active and piggy back on pickleball to do more preventive functional training.
