The reigning paddle of the year has continued to be one of the most popular paddles on the market. There are few paddles in the market today that have appealed to such a large number of players and remained relevant for more than 6 months. I do not personally play with this paddle but sure do respect it.

As a player who prefers paddles that are stiffer and thinner, this was not ideal for me but love the way it plays. I prefer the paddle create power for me and did not feel like this was enough for me. This is likely due to my play style because just about everyone I know who is using this paddle believes it offers tons of power. I do believe this paddle does a great job in carving and directing the ball. I found drops to be incredibly easy and the feel to be super nice.

The hybrid SixZero shape offers a great sweetspot and feel consistently stable but tend to offer a tad more weight in the head. I typically prefer more head weight but the thicker 16mm core + the head shape felt a tad less maneuverable to me.

What I love about this paddle the most is its price point. I found it quite refreshing for a brand to offer a flagship paddle for less than $200.00. At $180.00, it becomes an easy choice for those looking to upgrade out of the beginner/intermediate category of paddles.

I love this paddle. First the design is incredibly cool. Haven't seen the design on the paddle face continue through onto the edge guard before.

The paddle itself definitely hits like a power paddle. A tad more head weight but thats more toward my personal preference. Wouldn't say its very head heavy but not ideal if you like evenly balanced or handle heavy paddles.

It plays a tad toward the stiffer side but feels SOOOO good when you really swing at the ball. The dwell seems to be perfectly balanced with the amount of texture on the face creating more control than I would have expected. Not the best with touch/feel shorts but did not find it bad at them either.

If it weren't for the handle shape (a bit rectangular), I would have made this my new personal paddle.

In a field where paddle companies continue to play with new technologies and struggle create paddles that max performance without compromising the feel - the PROXR Signature seems to be the only paddle that comes close.

When your partner gives you an open hand ✋ at the kitchen line, they're telling you to switch! This means after you return the serve 🎾, they'll slide to cover the open spot in the kitchen 🏓, and you should run up to their side 🏃‍♀️.

Generally, it's best to return the ball straight ahead ⬆️ when switching sides. This makes it tougher for your opponent's third shot 🎯, and gives your partner a better chance to cover you, no matter where they hit it! #Pickleball #Tips

Improve your Counters, Defense, and Anticipation by positioning your paddle strategically.

Placing your paddle correctly before your opponent's shot is crucial for staying ahead in the game. Anticipate the ball's trajectory and adjust your paddle accordingly to avoid being caught off guard. Apply this principle to both vertical and horizontal shots. Keep these tips in mind to elevate your game next time you play!

You have Jorja and JW Johnson playing in the #APP Tour Sacramento stop instead of the PPA’s Indoor USA Championships, and now there’s news that Riley Newman might not play on the #PPA Tour, or at least not as much as he has in the past. 🏓🌟

"When PPA made their offer, I was grateful and appreciative, but at the end of the day I wanted to do what I thought was best for me and my future (both on and off the pickleball court). I have thoroughly enjoyed competing on the PPA Tour since the start of 2020, but I’m ready to look ahead and embark on a new pickleball journey with MLP!" 🚀🥒

Is This New Anna Leigh Waters Serve Legal? 🎾🤔

No fault was called for any of her running serve attempts. She even said that she asked the refs ahead of time if it was legal. They said it was, so she performed the serve several times throughout her singles matches.

Until then, what do you think? Was it legal? Should it be? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

I am still thinking about what took place two weeks ago. Concordia played in it’s FIRST ever Super Regional. While we did not achieve the results that we wanted, we still had a lot of fun and made history along the way. Thank you to DUPR and Pickle Haus for hosting an amazing tournament.

The future of this club is bright and I am excited for what lies ahead. :)

Thanks to the Junior #PPA , parents and kids can partner up together in mixed doubles, siblings can go head-to-head in singles, and everyone can compete and have a blast!

👉🏻 As enjoyable as tournaments are for parents, though, they can also be rather hectic if you’re juggling your schedule and your kids' schedule on-site, too.

The Metalbone looks and feels professional, commanding the court with its design that's sure to turn heads. ➡️For tennis players, it would be hard to find a paddle that looks and feels more like a tennis racquet. From the monocoque frame to the throat hole and grip, tennis players will quickly start ripping forehands with this paddle.
Adapting to the soft game may present a challenge initially, but starting with less weight allows for greater control. As you get comfortable, tailor the Metalbone to your style by adding weights. #Pickleball #Paddle #Review

Kyle Koszuta is one of the top pros in the Arizona Pickleball League. He broke down some key points from his last match and demonstrated how you can create space on the pickleball court:1️⃣ Kyle is engaged in a cross-court dink rally. Nico, his opponent directly ahead, wants to get involved in the point.2️⃣ Kyle breaks up the pattern with a middle dink that causes Nico to move his feet left and squeeze the middle.3️⃣ Kyle’s partner Cooper sees an opportunity to take the next ball out of the air to remove their opponent’s time to recover.4️⃣ Cooper pushes the ball back to Nico’s right and sends him scrambling.5️⃣ An off-balance dink provides Kyle the perfect opportunity to erne and finish the point. This is a prime example of how to win a point methodically. Most of the time, Nico has no trouble covering half or even the whole court. The right combination of shot placement and timing caught Nico out of position.#Pickleball #Tips

Waters is among several players who balance school, life, and being a pro.“I have to travel so much, I have to get ahead in school. This means, that when I’m home I have to do three times the amount of work a regular student would have to do. And when I’m traveling, I do three times less than what a regular student would do,” the No.1 Women’s Pro said.“The hardest part about being a high schooler and pro athlete is having time to do both. My days are completely full with school and training. One good thing about this is that I have become really good at time management and maximizing my days. I have been doing this for many years so it’s honestly just routine now.”#Pro #Pickleball #PPA #News
