The reigning paddle of the year has continued to be one of the most popular paddles on the market. There are few paddles in the market today that have appealed to such a large number of players and remained relevant for more than 6 months. I do not personally play with this paddle but sure do respect it.
As a player who prefers paddles that are stiffer and thinner, this was not ideal for me but love the way it plays. I prefer the paddle create power for me and did not feel like this was enough for me. This is likely due to my play style because just about everyone I know who is using this paddle believes it offers tons of power. I do believe this paddle does a great job in carving and directing the ball. I found drops to be incredibly easy and the feel to be super nice.
The hybrid SixZero shape offers a great sweetspot and feel consistently stable but tend to offer a tad more weight in the head. I typically prefer more head weight but the thicker 16mm core + the head shape felt a tad less maneuverable to me.
What I love about this paddle the most is its price point. I found it quite refreshing for a brand to offer a flagship paddle for less than $200.00. At $180.00, it becomes an easy choice for those looking to upgrade out of the beginner/intermediate category of paddles.

Personally love playing with this paddle.
The power is consistently there for all of my shots. It might not be the most powerful on the market but does offer a significant amount of power still very user friendly. The paddle does plays a bit on the stiff side but works well with my play style.
Generally have not found any issues with control or feel because Engage's peel ply is incredible. I've been a huge fan of the Pursuit series of paddles since starting the game because they continually innovate in an incredibly practical manner. The paddles do not look bad but you don't really get a sense of how awesome the paddle is until you're on the court blasting drives and speedups at your opponent. What I really love about this series is the shape and weight distribution. The paddle typically is closer toward an even weight distribution and plays incredibly agile in the hand.
I do have to mention that the butt cap seems to be an issue - Mine fell off after about a month. Do not love this style of buttcap but does this worry me? No. I've seen this happen a few times and Engage's customer service seems to always quickly to take care of warranty claims.
The only downside of this paddle is the price point. It seems quite high when comparing it to other power paddles on the market. I guess this is the price you pay for paddles manufactured in the USA.

I love this paddle. First the design is incredibly cool. Haven't seen the design on the paddle face continue through onto the edge guard before.
The paddle itself definitely hits like a power paddle. A tad more head weight but thats more toward my personal preference. Wouldn't say its very head heavy but not ideal if you like evenly balanced or handle heavy paddles.
It plays a tad toward the stiffer side but feels SOOOO good when you really swing at the ball. The dwell seems to be perfectly balanced with the amount of texture on the face creating more control than I would have expected. Not the best with touch/feel shorts but did not find it bad at them either.
If it weren't for the handle shape (a bit rectangular), I would have made this my new personal paddle.
In a field where paddle companies continue to play with new technologies and struggle create paddles that max performance without compromising the feel - the PROXR Signature seems to be the only paddle that comes close.

It's uncertain how this will correspond with existing USA Pickleball certification and whether non-professionals will need designated paddles for UPA or USAP tournaments. 🏓 We're not suggesting you stick with your JOOLA Gen3, especially since their customer service team reportedly isn't responding to calls at the moment. 📞

Spacing between two players can either create or limit opportunities – not just for the opposing team, but for your team as well. 🏓
Leave too much space and your opponents can hit an easy putaway or force you to reach for the next shot. A lot of popups happen due to players reaching. But when you don't leave enough space, you limit your range, making it harder to get to balls down the sideline. You can also encroach on your partner and end up clanking paddles or knocking one another over. 🎾🤦♂️

🎾 JOOLA has announced that they've officially filed a suit against USA Pickleball. It’s been just over a week since USAP upheld its decision to keep the Gen 3 paddles off of the list after removing them in mid-May.
JOOLA has maintained that the Gen 3 paddles that hit the market in April are “materially and structurally the same” as paddles that were approved by USAP back in September and suggested that their removal from the Approved Paddle List would result in legal action. ⚖️

In the latest installment of the JOOLA Gen 3 paddle saga, USA Pickleball has announced that the recently submitted paddles did not meet approved equipment standards. 🏓❌
This means that the paddles will remain absent from the Approved Paddles List. 📋🚫
They were removed from the list on May 15 when JOOLA informed USAP that it had submitted the wrong paddles for certification back in November. 😬❗
