Just Tuesday, UPA announced a $50k fine 💸 and a 60-day suspension ⛔ for Andrei Daescu. Less than 24 hours later, the #PPA has banned the JOOLA Gen3 paddles from competition 🚫🏓.

"Those #Paddles are not approved due to a discrepancy with USAP. Paddles need to be listed on USAP and pass PPA testing protocols tested by the independent laboratory PPL. Thank you for your understanding," said the tour in a statement.

Last month, Clemson 🐅 took down the two previous national champs to win the DUPR Virginia Super Regional.

The Tigers beat UNC 🏓 in the semifinals and the defending national champs from UVA 🥇 in the finals to earn the win.

Clemson, UVA; JMU 🎾, and UFall 🍁 earned bids to compete at the DUPR Collegiate National Championships later this year. The 64-team competition is scheduled for November 22-24 in Houston.

The eight-player round robin tournament was held on the new colorful courts and was a great opportunity to meet new people and play with and against everyone. Players kept their own scores throughout the tournament, and Anne came in second place. The challenging wind was a factor, but players switched sides after six points to balance it out.
